Flyer im Internet

It began quite harmlessly: when processing data for publication in the Bulletin as an announcement, almost accidentally I also produced a compressed version for the internet, which I linked with the corresponding calendar pages. Next I got the urge to install similar links to the flyers on club web sites, and recently I have occasionally received data with the request that I publish it only in the Internet. Although about 30% of our members do not have a homepage, the internet calendar is still becoming a more and more popular source of information. Therefore I have looked around for some help, and in Klaus Rohrbach I have found a willing comrade in arms. For many years he has been compiling information for the Rhein-Main Area, and at the same time has published flyers from all over Germany. You have been able to reach this site for some time via the EAASDC calendar on the Internet:

Klaus Rohrbach explains how to get your flyers on this site in a letter in this edition. Here are the recommendations:

• As before, send your flyers for the bulletin to Katharina, and she will forward them to me and the Editor Klaus Kietzmann
• Send other flyers directly to Klaus Rohrbach

Perhaps a club would survey their guests at a Special, to see what they prefer: the classic paper flyer, an announcement in the Bulletin or in the internet, with or without notification by e-mail. The results would be very interesting.

Es fing ganz harmlos an: bei der Aufbereitung von Dateien für die als Anzeige im Bulletin fiel "fast nebenbei" auch eine komprimierte Version für das Internet an, die ich mit den entsprechenden Kalenderzeilen verlinkte. Als nächstes kamen Wünsche, solche Links auch zu Flyern auf Club-Webseiten einzurichten und in letzter Zeit kommen hin und wieder Dateien mit der Bitte, sie nur im Internet zu veröffentlichen. Etwa 30% unserer Mitglieder hat zwar keine eigene Homepage, aber der Internetkalender wird eine immer beliebtere Informationsquelle. Ich habe mich daher nach Hilfe umgesehen und in Klaus Rohrbach einen bereitwilligen Mitstreiter gefunden. Er betreibt schon seit vielen Jahren eine Info-Sammlung für das Rhein-Main-Gebiet und veröffentlicht dort inzwischen auch Flyer aus ganz Deutschland. Den Link zu dieser Sammlung findet ihr schon seit einiger Zeit unter dem EAASDC-Kalender im Internet:

Wie ihr euren Flyer auf diese Seite bekommt, beschreibt Klaus Rohrbach in einem Leserbrief in dieser Ausgabe. Falls euch sein Angebot zusagt:

• Flyer für das Bulletin wie bisher an Katharina, sie verteilt sie weiter an Editor Klaus Kietzmann und mich
• Andere Flyer direkt an Klaus Rohrbach

Vielleicht macht ein Club mal eine Umfrage unter den Gästen seines Specials, welche Art Information sie vorziehen: klassische Papierflyer, Anzeigen im Bulletin oder Anzeigen im Internet mit oder ohne eMail-Benachrichtigung. Das Ergebnis würde mich sehr interessieren.

Was auf jeden Fall nicht gemacht werden sollte, ist der Versand von umfangreichen Flyerdateien an andere Clubs.
